The Realness Kaihaukai

A kaihaukai is a feast that acknowledges the exchange and sharing of food and knowledge, and recognises the importance of creating and maintaining relationships. On Sunday the 27th of June 2021, The Realness collaborated on a very special event with Eat New Zealand. Professor Rangi Matamua, who is part of the group leading the government task force on Matariki, came and spoke about this time of the year and its special connection with food.
